We moved into a new house and mum started this thing where she makes a few freezer meals each week. When she finds one she really likes that is a bit different from the normal taco meat and shredded chicken, she said she wants to share it with everyone.

Chicken Florentine Crescent Ring.
Mum modified it a bit to fit our family’s taste and she doubled the recipe. Her modified recipe is as follows but I’m sure the original is just as yummy. Dad doesn’t care for bacon (I know right!!!!!) and we like things pretty spicy in our house!
2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 chicken breasts), diced small
2/3 cup mayo
2/3 cup light ranch dressing
1 box frozen chopped spinach, defrosted and drained
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 Roll of Crescent Rolls
Directions: Mix everything together and freeze.
Directions for bag: Make a sun shape out of crescent pieces on a pizza pan. Pour mixture evenly on the inside circle, and fold the outer edges of the crescent roll pieces in. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Here is the thing. Mum had some left over after she made the crescent rolls. She took some left over pasta and stirred in the chicken spinach mixture! Amazing!!!
This will be a recipe which she has handy at all times. It would be amazing as an appetizer on crackers as well. Its so versatile and that comes in handy for freezer meals!
